I did my genre profile on hypertext poetry. The wiki entry follows the genre conventions of all our entries, incorporating features from the hypertext. In my wiki entry, I only used hyperlinks as my multimedia features, because hypertext poetry is very hypertext driven. It is difficult to find a common image or media element to showcase this. I remixed a short short I wrote last semester called "Divided". I based the remix on the hypertext fiction genre conventions. I incorporated outside sources for the mathematical diction in order to expand my audience and bring out more interpretations from the technical terms. The images I used, are to contrast the opposing technical side of the piece with the artistic side. The images portray the protagonists internal conflict when her forming identity, and then her finding individuality in comparison to her sister. To access my remix click the button below.

For my transmedia storytelling project, I used a radio play called "Charlie's Meeting" and a web comic called "Jack's Recruitment" to stem off the primary short story I wrote called "Endurance." My project focuses on different character's perspectives from the original text, "Endurance", and the effect sports have on them. To access my transmedia storytelling project click the button below. |
